nothing to lose

Merry Christmas. Hope you received everything you wanted this year. And if you were hoping for new injectors for your diesel engine, but didn't receive any, there's still hope!

When faced with the option of replacing injectors costing up to $2500 or purchasing a bottle of Hot Shot’s Secret (HSS) to clean the injectors for $49.98????, diesel truck owners are understandably tempted to be more than a little skeptical about the effectiveness of HSS.

I wouldn’t believe it myself, which is why I’ve made sure that HSS is a guaranteed product. If it doesn’t fix your problem, keep the product and get your money back no questions asked. I am more than aware that there are many factors that could contribute to injector malfunctions, but if all your truck’s injectors need is a cleaning, it’s more than worth a try.

Have a safe, happy new year.

There have been a lot of questions surrounding the cause of diesel fuel injector malfunctions from truck owners. While there isn’t one answer, the majority of cases can be traced back to the increased pressure that manufacturers have applied to the tips of the fuel injectors.

This increased pressure allows for a better, more efficient fuel burn with more power, but the downside is that the higher pressure and higher temperatures create a burning effect on the engine oil, a damaging combination on the fuel injectors. A corrosive layer of oxidized oil deposits will form, clogging the injectors, first slowing them down and, if nothing is done, eventually stopping them altogether. Some indications of injectors misfiring are slow start-ups, rough idling, hesitation and lack of power.

When truck owners run into these problems, it’s time to invest in fixing or cleaning the injectors.
